I am East of KCMO about 20 miles. These are west and a little south to me.

Probably just satellites - but I'd like to know if anyone else sees new "stars" out tonight, too, and where they are in relation to you.

Not stars but planets. Maybe Venus and Mars but not sure cause it's been a long time since college astronomy. Very bright tonight though.

I'll look when I take the dog out to pee. The moon is tiny and the stars are bright right now.

Oh, and no, they're not moving in the pic. I had my flash off and was getting blown around a little bit.

Well I live close to you and can't go outside at the moment. I will have to use my crutches to get outside due to my hip surgery. Yes I do see lights though.

Michaelrob's link described exactly what I saw - I guess it's Venus & Jupiter. (Or Mercury & Jupiter - I'd have to visit the link again to be sure.)
