I didn't want to make a new post because I posted about this in another thread but are 4 really wet diapers enough for a 5 month old?
I know on kellymom it says 4-5+ sopping wet are good http://www.kellymom.com/bf/supply/enoughmilk-older.html ... but okay for a 5 month old?
I noticed that he changed his nursing schedule... now it's like 5-6 times because he only ocassionally wakes up to nurse in the night. Unless he gets very little during the day I'll nurse him in his sleep or he automatically catches up. I think I was offering too much and he was getting frustrated *shrugs* I would offer every 2 hours if he didn't cue (very distractible nowadays).
We went in for his 4 month check-up late due to re-scheduling and he weighs 18lbs 12 oz and is 26 1/4 inches long! So my guess is that he is getting enough.
