My friend is being induced right now (her doctor wanted to do it since he will be out of town for the holiday). Her original due date was 12-2 and then moved to 11-22. Well she is measuring 38+weeks so the induction is not working. She is having contractions from the pit but so far no dilation. She says she would rather have a c/s so her nurse asked me to go in and talk to her since her other option is to go home and come back on Friday. I got her up to the chair and told her to relax and if it did not work she should go home and let the baby decide when he is ready. After some talking she decided against the c/s unless it is medically necessary. Please send happy labor vibes this way. Its her first baby by the way. TIA
