How is everyone doing?

Sorry, I've been gone so long. Been working on getting things ready for the holidays.

Had my Prenatal today. In 2 days I will be 30 Weeks. I measured 26 weeks 4 weeks ago.. But today I measured 32. It wasn't my imagination. I DID pop the last 2 weeks. Gravity has shifted and my back and hips really felt it! I have now gained a total of 18 Lbs. (I also gained 6 lbs this last month) HB was 150's and she kept kicking the Doppler causing the midwife and myself to laugh.

The Herbs My midwife has me on are heaven sent!! With my last 3 pregnancies, I have Contractions, I mean really strong take your breath away Braxton's or real contractions starting around 26 weeks. With my history of Preterm Labor she thought it would be a good idea to start these. It's really Odd not to even have Braxtons anymore! I sleep through the night. Am not constantly on edge thinking "is this it?" and wondering how early would too early be! I'm looking forward to going full term for the first time since my 3rd child! I wouldn't even mind going over. I only need to take the Herbs for 6 more weeks (36 weeks) then we will let my body figure things out.

All in all I feel like a million bucks and am enjoying Katie and her movements.

I will add Pictures on the other pregnancy thread in 2 days when I'm 30 weeks.

I'm glad you're hanging in there Joy! 30 weeks is a great milestone!

I'm 26 weeks as of tomorrow. I start my weekly appts next week. Yep, I start every single week at only 27 weeks. I had to do every single week in first trimester too. I've been enjoying going less! I start the biophysical profiles weekly at 28 weeks - so that means long appts. I go for the 3 hour GTT on the 8th. My weight gain is at about 28 lbs, which actually isn't too bad for me. I've been on a diabetic diet all along, I just gain a lot no matter what! (It was 70+ lbs in my other two pgs). My last ultrasound was at 25 weeks and I got a few of the 3D pics on it, so that was cool. He was measuring 10 days ahead on that ultrasound which is on the small side for me.

I'm 35 weeks right now, and feeling better than I did a month ago, strangely. I was having such painful and frequent Braxton Hicks and work was stressful -- I felt so exhausted I had no idea how I'd make it to January.

I cut back a bit at work, and now have less than 2 weeks left in the semester (yay!), and am feeling so much better. I'm even having fewer BH.

It's hard not to wonder how long it'll be before the baby arrives -- I had Simon at 37 and a half weeks, so I may only have a couple of weeks left... Or, 6 weeks!!! I really hope it's not 6 weeks.

37 weeks today! I can hardly believe it. It seems like time flew by and now it's just crawling. I have a nast kidney infection and Acid reflux that kills. I am sooooo ready to not be pregnant anymore. I keep talking myself into one more day, and then one more week.

Seeing the OB twice a week is tiring. NSTs, sugar checks, and all the poking and prodding are wearing my nerves thin. Im so tired.

My body hurts, mostly my hips and groin area, baby hasn't engaged and is still laying sideways in the womb. I am praying that he turns in time to be delivered vaginally, otherwise I am threatend with a c-section, which is right now my very worst fear.

Other than that....Im good.

I had my 36-week appointment today, and found out I'm 1 cm dilated, which is sort of exciting. I know I could stay 1 cm for another month, but it's nice to think my body's getting ready!

I went to the dr yesterday, I am 21 weeks today. Hey Joy, what are the herbs you are taking? I may need to try them. With my first pregnancy, I went into labor at 36 weeks, and barely made it to the hospital to have him. Didn't have any signs of labor until the day I had him. They are thinking this pregnancy will be quicker and sooner. The dr told me yesterday that any time i have a contraction to come to the hospital asap.

I am feeling ok, but i feel like i am getting bigger by the day. I have gained 10 lbs, but it is all in my belly. My belly button will sticking out in no time. Not sleeping well, but i'm not sure that will ever get better, lol.

Hey Joy, what are the herbs you are taking? I may need to try them.

Hi Kelly, Sorry been busy with life. The herbs are Wild Yam, Cramp Bark and False Unicorn. They are all in tincture form. You take half a dropper full (Squeeze the top and there is your dose) in some water. It's VIAL stuff but ohh so heaven sent! I'm doing more now then I ever did with my last 2 pregnancies. I was on bed rest or near it. When contractions start coming on I double up on them and they calm down. I still try to take it easy but it's been really hard having DH down with a slipped disk in his back.

There is one other herb I can take when/if these 3 aren't working fully. I have it on hand, just incase. It's Lobelia.

Went to my Midwife yesterday. Everything is still great! Katie is still head down, BP is wonderful, HB was 148, I measure 32 1/2 centimeters and only gained 1 lb. (Sure beats the 6 lb gain in a month last time and measing 2 weeks over.)

14 days till my due date!!!!

My hips, inner groin, and inner thighs HURT soooo bad Im finding it hard to get out of bed, and hard to walk. I hope that means he turned around and his head is down there. My OB doesn't check you regularly like some doctors do, she hasn't checked since I was 36 weeks and won't again until I ask her too.

Im torn, my kids are so sick so I want baby Alex to stay put inside for another week at least, at the same time, I can't wait to see him and hold him and count all his little fingers and toes. Its getting hard to live and hard to wait!!!!!

Im praying my kids get better and I don't get sick!!!!
