Hi Everyone.

My ds is already 3mos last week. Since last week, his poop pattern has changed. From pooping 1-2 times a day, he is now pooping beyond 24 hours. In fact, he hasnt pooped yet for 2 days now. I am kinda worried. I have read that BF babies poop in 3-5 days but I was thinking that my ds is still young to have that pattern. Secondly, his poops seem to be less in value and more concentrated. Before, he used to have watery yellow poop with white particles. I have read that this is the normal poop of breastfed baby. Now, his poop is still yellow but not watery anymore. Does the change have something to do with what I ate? Is he constipated? The white particles are still there but not watery anymore. Sometimes, it has streak of brown or green, but definitely more concentrated. I hope somebody can advice me.

Thanks.

It is perfectly normal what your son is doing

I wouldn't worry unless he shows signs of being in pain when trying to poop

The green is probably some wind & yes what you eat can affect what his poo looks like

I agree with mumtosix, as long as baby is not struggling or seeming uncomfortable and bowels are not hard or pellet like, he is probably fine:)
