EEk. Weight gain already??

Geez! With both of my DC I lost weight. 12lbs with DD and 6lbs with DS. Granted I did not find out I was preggo untill about right now (5wks or so) Normally in the mornings i have a weigh range between 3lbs but I do always gain like 4lbs before I start. I gained that this month, but of course never started, but the weight never went away either. In fact i have gained 2lbs on top of that. That is 6lbs in 2 wks! What the crap?? I barely got my fav jeans on this morning!

I have had no morning sickness at all, which I did have horibbly with DD, and mildly with DS. Maybe I have just not reached that point yet. That in it's self has me a little worried. I do have my 1st appt. today. *fingers crossed*

Now I am not obsessing about my weight or anything, but I just wondered if anyone else gained so quickly?

with my 3rd, absolutely. with my first 2 not at all but with my 3rd my body was so used to it or something, and i did gain weight faster. my last 2 are closer together than yours will be tho

This is my 3rd. My 1st two were 19 months apart. DS and this one are not so close. He will be 2 in Feb.

my 2nd and 3rd are 13 months apart ;) so i didnt get a chance to loose too much of my pgy weight before i started gaining again. but every pgy is different, i know some people who gain a lot early on with their 1st baby

I gained 18 total with DD and 21 total with DS. I had no weight gain at all with DD untill I wa sin the 5th months, and in the 3rd with DS. Just wondering what was up. lol!

with my third I gained alot more and quicker and never had nausea with my first 2 kids I did. I gained the most with kyler my third 30 lbs total. this time not so much havent felt the greastest this whole pregnancy. good luck today hun keep us updated please.

I gained about 3 lbs by 6 weeks and did gain pretty steadily. But I gain much more weight than you seem to. 60 lbs with my son. I've gained "only" (it's only to me!) 35 so far with this pregnancy, so I'm hoping I won't gain more than 40.

But I think you bloat pretty early on. As long as you're eating healthily I wouldn't worry.

I gained a ton more quickly with my 3rd. I also gained more with my third although I did start our smaller with her. With my boys I gained 30lbs and 32lbs but with my dd I gained 42lbs. My final weight was actually lower though than with boys as I started lighter. As long as you are eating healthy and taking care of yourself please don't worry too much about the scale.

Oh how exciting your first appt today!!!

I guess I wouldnt worry about the weight gain, expecally with Thanksgiving alot is problaby water weight.

Plus, I dont know about you but I am supper constipated (I know TMI!) but you have all this food going in and not much coming out, its bound to make you weight a bit more.

I have already bloated, um like the day after I found out. lol. I showed pretty early with both of my DC too, so we will see!

My appt. went great, and my doc actually called me skinny, which made me feel better. lol.

For the most part we are super healthy eaters due to the DC FA's, so that is not a concern.

I gained 4 lbs in the first week or two with this pg. (Then lost 7 when the m/s got so bad and I ended up in the hospital 2x. At this point, I am still below my pre-pg weight.)

(((hug))) Rachelandtyke! I was the same way with DD. I was so stinkin' sick. the doc asked me today if I had been sick, and I told him no and about the weight gain. He told me it was possible to expect to be sick in a week or so.
