until later. I hope not THAT much later. Because we usually sit there for at least 5 freaking hours to see him!
It is 9:08 and we have to leave to go over state line and be there at 10:30 to see my sugeon who did both of my hips. The left hip was done Oct.29.

This is is supposed to be my 3 week checkup but it is much closer to 4 1/2 weeks. My recovery times is 6 weeks.

I was walking on my left hip right after surgery because DH and kids were sick and was giving meds to the kids and got read the right act by the surgeon about it. I got X-Rays done Tuesday so he can see if I did any damage to see if Will lose my hip and have to get a hip replacement. I think I healed pretty well since I stayed off of it most of the time.

The surgeon said that these surgeries will last a minimum of 5 year and I WILL eventually have to have hip replacements in both of my hips when I get older.

I am just wondering if he will give me some more pain pills. I have been trying to wean myself off of the pain meds. I actually got tablets of percuset this time and last time I gotcapsules, so I couldn't cut the capsules in half .lol I used to take 2 tablets then went down to one tablet and now I am breaking pills in half but I don't know if I have enough to wean myself off. I read on this weaning site and it takes up to 6 weeks to wean myself off of them.

Anyway! Wish me luck!

I'd say break a leg, but I guess that isn't what you want to hear...

hmmmm....safe journey and I hope you get good results. There.

Thanks

Everything went pretty well. The hip and pelvic X-rays shown that I am healing up pretty good. I have to go back to see the surgeon again in two weeks for my 6 week check up.

I had an MRI done on my left shoulder because it has been giving me a pain for a long while. So the surgeon ordered an MRI for my left shoulder today.

I had alot of bone spurs and big spurs in both of my hips. The tech that did my MRI of my shoulder today said that if you have alot of bone spurs in the areas that have been operated on then you are more prone to have more in other parts of the body and will need surgery for that to. UGH. I am falling apart.
