Dr. Appt Update

We went in and had an u/s done. She said the baby was 6weeks instead of 7, but she wouldnt change my due date because of that. She thought she saw the heart beating, She was pretty sure, she couldnt get a good veiw, so I am going back in next friday for another u/s.

I am glad your appt. went well. Sometimes when they are that tiny its hard to see the heart beating clearly so I would not worry about it.

What type of u/s did you have? It is pretty difficult to see a heartbeat at all that early in the pregnancy.

I'm sorry they couldn't see the heartbeat for sure yet but it's really early still. I'll be thinking of you until your next appt.

Everything should be fine. At six weeks, my OB wouldn't even check for a heartbeat, she thought it was too early to be sure.

I'm glad your appt went well! They couldn't see the heartbeat in my current pg at 6 weeks and all is well! (Conversly, they saw it easily at 6 weeks in the last pg and I lost that one). Good luck next Friday!

Good luck with your ultrasound. I agree with everyone else 6 wks is pretty early to see a heartbeat!

at my 6 weeks with ds the heartbeat was very visiable and easy to count, at my 6 weeks with this pregnancy it was not visiable at all neither was the baby, just the sack and yolk, so I too am going back next week for another us.

the other thing that upset me is they refused to tell me was that there was only one in there. which I though would have been easy enough to see but I guess not.
