Nesting starts!!

I'm cleaning, organizing and getting things ready for the baby. I usually start doing this 2-3 weeks before the little one is due. This is about right. I have 5 weeks to go and am known for going 1-2 weeks early.

I've cleaned out our night stands, shreaded papers, organized everything and put it back. Found a missing Gift card to an office supply store for some more ink for our printer. YAY! Been wondering where that went! Moved the book shelf (Well the older kids did) out and into the boys room and moved the basinet where it was. Claaned out the baby dresser/changing table and washed all the baby clothing, blankets, diapers, changing pads.. etc.. and waiting for it to all dry then going to put it into the dresser. My Bathroom is next.. after a nap this afternoon. It's only 10:30. Not sure where I got all this energy seeing as I've not slept well the last 6 days.

You are so lucky. Nesting hit big time when I was pregnant with my first, but I was working full time, and was too tired to do anything by the time I got home.
With my second, I was home, but nesting never happened. I'm crossing my fingers I'll get smitten with it this time around. ;)

I must agree. I feel very blessed to be able to stay home with my kids. Hope you get the nesting bug this go around! I'm trying NOT to do too much but for some odd reason, drawers are calling to me! Must clean and organize ALL drawers!

I have been nesting for weeks. everything has to be perfect. except I have been very sick since xmas day so have had a break. we are almost there.
