My beautiful baby girl ALyssa Marie was born Oct. 17 2008.

I went to the hospital 7am to be induced, at 39 weeks 6 days.
I was 5cm dilated 2 days before.
When I got there I was 8cm and in labor already with contraction 2 minutes apart that I did NOT feel. They broke my water at 9am, and found out I had a second bag of water at 2pm.

They told me I had a fever of 101 and my blood pressure was in the high 140/90
As the day went on my temp got to 105 and my blood pressure was at a peak of 150/95.
I started to push at 4:30pm
They kept losing her heartbeat, so they inserted something to read her heartbeat and attached it to her head.

My daughter would not budge at all. She just stayed in the same position. As my Blood pressure, fever and pulse got higher. And the pain from her being stuck got worse, I could not push any longer. Either way, Off to the O.R to have a C section I was going.

In the delivery room, I heard my daughters first cry at 6:33 pm. As I cried...
As I lay there helpless and numb, I could not hold my baby. I couldn't even turn my head to get a good look at her, I caught a little glimpse.
My fingers would not even move. My body got SO COLD!
And they told my Husband to leave the room right away.

I began to cry even more, I had no idea what was going on. All I knew was my daughter was out and I was freezing, and could not move. I was so out of it my eyes barely would open.

Apparently I was bleeding uncontrollably and my uterus was "floppy".
They finally got everything together and stapled me shut.

My blood count was down to 4 and if it was any lower they would have lost me. I was practically fighting for my life. I had two blood transfusions. Found out Im O negative.
I could not nurse my daughter that night, I could barely move. I was so cold.
I left the hospital with a blood count of 7, still very low. I was in bed for 2 weeks from being so weak.

Just recently have I started to feel better.
My daughter is 2 1/2 months old now.

Needless to say the nurses were TERRIBLE!
They gave me the worst breastfeeding advice, and actually tried convincing me to give her formula.
They sabotaged my breastfeeding to the point where she needed supplements to gain weight. Even the head of the Lactation department told me to give her formula.
Breastfeeding hurt so badly, they were showing me what NOT to do.
Finally my guardian angel came.. haha.. She knew exactly what to do, and a miracle happened it did not hurt!!
That nurse was in charge of the breastfeeding classes. If it wasn't for her I would not be breastfeeding, I almost gave up because of those nurses. Im glad I didn't.

Apparently the second bag of water ment I was pregnant with twins at one point. I SO KNEW!
But very early on that one had died. My doctor believed it was a boy. Because my Daughter has Hydronephrosis which is more common in a boy. And there is no reason for it, no reflux or anything just big kidneys.
