So what are you looking forward to this year? Any resolutions?

I resolve on a daily basis instead of annually. Keeps me more in focus.
I am looking forward to all of it as far as I know (well, except for the making of 5 bday cakes - lol - then again, I could choose to not bake them but that would be less personal and that is part of the bday to our family so, I'll just plan ahead and do it!). Just loving life and having family and friends nearby.
Happy New Year to you, too!

Happy 2009 to you too EM!
I was disappointed tonight. DS and I were watching Dick Clark's New Years Eve special. There was no official countdown to midnight and we didn't see the ball drop in Time's Square.
When midnight hit, Ne-Yo was singing on Dick's show. What's up with that?

Bama, I also make resolutions more often than every Jan 1st, but it's a great opportunity to make some of the bigger ones based on a review of the year in general.
I am looking forward to getting my divorce finalized - I just want to be done with all the tension and up-in-the-air-ness of the whole thing.
I am looking forward to getting DS into more sports.
I am looking forward to DD learning to walk & say her first word & all those 6 month-18 month milestones.
I am looking forward to possibly finding a place for the kids and I with a yard, a basement and a garage - we have more options open to us now because we don't have any pets anymore.
I am looking forward to Lily's first birthday and Donovan's 4th - especially since I know I have multiple memories from that age, so he's probably going to remember more now.
I am looking forward to making the cakes - but I'm nerdy like that.
I am looking forward to implementing more structured routines for the smooth running of our home.
I am looking forward to possibly getting a job outside the home & actually making some money and talking with adults IRL.
I am looking forward to getting my credit back on track.
I am looking forward to getting my muscle tone back in my abdominal muscles.
I am kinda looking forward to being able to flirt again - maybe even date a little.
I am looking forward to growing some flowers on my front porch this summer. And some veggies, probably - just for fun and education.
I am looking forward to lemonade and strawberries on the front porch with the kids - we did that a couple of times this year & DS loves little treats like that - It made him feel so special the first time I picked him up from pre-school with the promise of strawberries when we got home - and he calls lemonade "lemon" - I think he may now have an emotional attachment to lemonade, since he's been particularly fond of it since that afternoon. lol It was one of our first afternoons in the new apartment after his dad & I split. Lily was still in utero.
I am looking forward to another year of opportunities to make memories like that for my babies.
