So a 1.5 liter bottle of white wine was left open all night with only a couple of glasses taken out. Anyone have a recipe that uses a bunch so it isn't wasted?

I wouldn't worry about it. You can use it as cooking wine. Just keep it corked and in a cool spot. It should be good for a while.

I was thinking of a recipe for food. The cork must have been tossed because I can't find it.

Coq au vin blanc recipe was yummie. I added mushrooms carrots and thyme from the optional ingredients. Very good, no surprises recipe! Dh & I both think that a little more garlic would be better and that the bacon didn't add anything - though the grease was useful in browning the chicken. Served it with rice but maybe next time I just add potatoes to the pot.

You can also freeze leftover wine in ice cube trays to use later (not to drink, but to add to recipes).

That's a great idea. I am hoping to make lavender wine jelly after the kids are in bed. That will use up the last of the wine. Dh cooked some pork chops in it last night too.
