I saw the bottle sitting on the counter. I couldnt resist telling my story.
My mom over Christmas holiday was so excited to give me this bottle of wine. She and her client (an elderly woman she cares for) were in search of this wine. They had the name written down and went to two liquor stores to find it. I am picturing this scene and all the chuckles it may have caused.
The wine is called Menage a Trois. I keep reading the label and it is really dirty. "Take a walk on the wild side and explore the pleasures of our menage a trois. Surrender to the seduction of the dark, rich berry with a hint of pepper, a lush lingering finish leaving you wishing for more."
The back says "Share the fantasy!" My mom and this lady had no clue what that meant. I told my mom yesterday and she was so embarrassed. This made me laugh a little which is better than how I was feeling.
