Once you can FEEL the tooth, IME it usually only takes a few days or weeks for the tooth to come through all the way.

It really depends on the baby. Some are fast teethers and others aren't.

I wouldn't use orajel.

Neither would I.

We used Kerry's Herbals Gummy Oil and motrin as needed for DS1. I need to order more gummy oil for DS2 (to have on hand) and I got an amber teething necklace. I hope we can avoid motrin with him.

It varies from child to child. When mine had a hard time teething, I gave them a clean, damp wash cloth to chew on. I used Orajel sparingly and if it was really bad, Infant's Tylenol.

Put a wet washcloth in the freezer and let her chew on it. The cold helps, and the gnawing will make her feel better.

Dds loved frozen bagels.

DS wouldn't have anything cold but frozen waffles and those mesh feeders with frozen bananas in them. He loved those. It really was the only thing to get us through those first teeth. He hated teethers, cold or not. We gave him tylenol only once or twice. We only tried orajel twice, and he balked and screamed both times.

We could feel his teeth below the gums for quite some time before they actually popped out. Several weeks at least. He's now cutting his molars. Two down and two to go.
