breastfeeding during pregnancy

Hi my 8 month old is still exclusively breastfeeding, however i just recently found out about a couple days ago that I'm pregnant again. I was so depressed, especially because I wanted to space them at least 3-5 years apart. My main problem is I wanna know if it's still safe to breastfeed while im pregnant. I tend to feel very weak and my stomach empty, when my daughter's done nursing. What should I do?

eat and drink more. its very safe to nurse while you're pregnant. your milk will change and baby may wean herself in your 2nd or 3rd trimester

As long as you're not at risk for premature labor, it should be fine to breastfeed. Because milk supply dips significantly, you may need to supplement with formula in order to meet your baby's nutritional needs.
