i gained about 54 lb with my son. i lost about 30 by my 2 week appointment but those last 20 will not come off! when i was preg with my daughter i gained about 70 and it came right off! i was in my normal jeans in a month but this time nothing is working. i have tried cutting down my portions and i have even started eating a salad before my meals hoping that i will fill up on salad. still no difference. i would go walk but since my daughter was born 3 years ago i have had major hip problems that if i stand/walk pretty much at all it kills me! i am starting to think about doing slimfast but am unsure. i really dont know much about it (like is there aspertain {or however you spell fake sugar} in it? is that bad for nursing babies? those kind of questions. i wondered if anyone had any thoughts on the matter.

How far are pp are you? Sometimes it just takes time.
After the initial drop, I was at a standstill until 6 months when I started to lose a lb a week and that continued until 12 months when I reached my pre-pg weight.
There is a book called Eat Well, Lose Weight while breastfeeding that you may find helpful.
I know that weight watchers has a program for nursing mothers that some have found helpful.

My DD is 14mo. and I still cannot shake this last 10lbs. I run, lift weights, play tennis and am very active. The more active I am the more I eat. Anyhow I am convinced that I will not lose this last 10lbs until I am done nursing. I've heard that some women have this issue while nursing...it sucks.
Did you nurse your first child? If not, that may be how you lost it faster. Or maybe you were younger which helps our bodies bounce back faster.
Either way I feel your pain.
