Let down

I stopped breastfeeding on Saturday. When I am feeding my 8 month old baby I still get the feeling of my milk letting down. Is this normal?? How long will it last? Also how long does it take to fully dry up? I no longer feel engorged and have not had to pump for relief since yesterday morning.

How have you stopped (i.e slowly weaned or one day just stopped) nursing?

I've heard many stories on how long it takes to fully dry up. If you are done nursing, have you tried using cabbage leaves to help dry up?

I was going to wean slowly over time so as to not stress my daughter and myself but that ended up not being the greatest idea. My daughter has a really sensitive system and her body was freaking out when we were doing both breast milk and formula.

So I am done nursing. Saturday was the last morning I nursed. I am not uncomfortable just wondering. How do you use the cabbage leaves?
