I'm not sure what you mean. What are your specific concerns?

not yet lol. just started this am. is supply an issue for most? Could this have been the cause of my sore nipples about a week ago?

sorry my first post was unclear.

I think you'll be okay even if you dip a bit, since he's close to a year. My AF returned at around 13-14 months with both of my kids, but I've never noticed a problem with supply. It probably does explain the sore nipples, though. :)

If you do notice a dip, some suggest taking a magnesium-calcium supplement.

My AF never left me. I got it back right after my DS was born. Yes to the sore nipples. If you are concerned about a supply drop just nurse/offer to nurse more often during those times, but like the others have said with him being a year it really shouldn't be a problem.

My supply did seem to dip a little, but it always came back. My nipples got sore around the time I ovulated.

When my period returned I thought I was pregnant again (sore boobs, sad, crazy, tired). I have not noticed supply issues that I would attribute to my period. I did start having PMS depression that was really intense. Also my cramps were different- more dull nagging and annoying. Oh- I also have cramps now when I ovulate. I started working out regularly and feel so much better.

the only thing i've heard is that sometimes it can change the taste of your milk, just during the actual period, not perminately. and some babies dont like the taste and may resist nursing...but once you're done it'll go back to normal.
