cold meds...like Sudafed have been known to dry up even nursing mama's milk.

Drink sage tea. It is normal to be able to have some milk coming out, even years after. How much milk are you talking about? Are you getting engored???

no, not engorged. a little here and there. sometimes drips of it. i still haventgone down to my original size bra either...everyone i talked to said they were smaller after they stopped nursing. i was hoping that would happen in my case too:) maybe not though.

Put cabbage leaves in your bra until they wilt and repeat with fresh leaves. I"m told it doesn't take long using this method to dry up your milk.
As far as going down a size, that depends on the individual. I also think it depends on weight gain/loss since pregnancy. For instance, if the weight you gained during pregnancy did not come off, chances are good, you will not go down a size (because weight gained has to go somewhere). If you are the same as pre-pregnancy weight, you should at least get back to normal (when you stop producing milk anyway). It is common (if you return to pre-pregnancy weight or less) to go down a size however, I think it is just as common to NOT go down a size and some say they never even return to their previous norm.
Guess, that wasn't much help (well, maybe the cabbage leaves suggestion was help).

Cabbage leaves didnt' work when I weaned my son years ago. I, like you, had milk for a long time after weaning. I could even pump a few ounces a few months later. My bb's finally did go back down to a non-nursing size, but it took a while and they were never smaller than when I started. I hoped but it didn't happen.

Freeze, then roll the cabbage leaves with a rolling pin & place in your bra. It's the juices that help to dry your milk.
BTW, you don't need to go to a DR for having breastmilk within a month of weaning.

I fed my baby for 4 weeks and wont be able to continue.
I pumped 4-5 oz this sunday and dint pumped milk(1.5 oz) till Tuesday as my breasts were feeling engorged.
Should i continue expressing little milk every 2 days or not?
i started using cabbage leaves today.
I am taking vitamin B6(200mg) to help dry up my milk. ..I read somewhere that we should take 200mg thrice in a day..Is it the right amt.
Someone suggested to take Sudafed..i see that there are lot of sudafed medicines available OTC.. which one should I take
What other things should i do to avoid the pain.
How many days/weeks will it take to not get engorged and to dry up the milk.
