So I just got my period today. Its not my first, I had 2 the month she was born.
But this time I noticed a dramatic decrease in my supply today!!
I had A LOT of milk, and now it seems too low.
My daughter is 3 months old. I hate that some women dont get there period, but I get Mine!
I guess nursing on demand every 1-3 hours isn't enough. lol

Is this normal? What can I do?

Every women is different. Sorry you got yours back so early.

My LC told me that once my period returns I should take a calcium/magnesium supplement to help with supply dips that occur during this time.

Your supply should bounce back after your period is gone.

It's pretty normal, yes. And the supply will bounce back, as whitness said. I find my supply bounces back after the first day or two. Some people notice a dip during the whole period.

I'm hearing more and more about the calcium/magnesium supplementation. You can try that. But don't supplement- that will put your supply off.

I am the same way...except my period only "kinda" comes back. This same thing is happening to me right now and I try to remember that it has happened with all my kiddos and I have to just push through the low milk supply and hang in there!!!
