How about Canadian Tire bucks? A friend of mine was in Mexico at a bar, when he ran out of Mexican currency. He had a ton of Canadian Tire bucks in his wallet though, and apparently that was good enough for the bartender, who must have figured Canadian currency just as good as Mexican.
