I'm so glad to hear your baby is once again healthy.

I love my dh. He just gave dd1 a bath, read to her, and is now laying down with her. He had the day off today. He cleaned the whole kitchen and brought up 6 loads of clean laundry for me to put away. He had the day off of work today and we have been way behind on chores because dd2 has been sick then started cutting teeth.

Aww, sweet of him. Mine is under a pile of kids and cats on the couch all half asleep. It's so cute to see them do that. He kept them out of my hair earlier so I could sew.

I love that lately my DH has been cooking more often and that he has been accepting of Safia sleeping in our be for the past 3.5 years even though I know he does not like it. I love that now that she has started spending the first part of the night in her bed he is coming to bed earlier in the evening and we have had the opportunity to be intimate more often usual.

I love that DH agreed to staying home from work tomorrow and that our kids are not going to school so that we can all stay home and watch the inauguration with DH's 74 yo AA mother. I am so thrilled that my little girls not only get to watch the inauguration, but that get to watch it through the eyes of their GM who has gone from seeing the world through the dirty windows on the back of the bus to watching an AA become president on HD TV. Dh and I have talked a lot over this past week about how there was a time when he and I would never have been allowed to be married. We have talked about how far this country has come and how much further it has to go. The girls are so very excited for tomorrow.

mine tucked the middle two into bed, kissed me and said "I'll be the one sleeping in the bed. I'll try not to elbow you when your get to bed."

I love the little white speck (tooth peeking out) that I am so not ready for that I noticed in my screaming dd2's mouth while reading this thread. I also love that an hour later she is mostly sleep nursing.

I love my DH for working so hard to provide for our family so that I can stay home with our kids.

I love my local community college. The professors are so enthusiastic about teaching. The fees are so cheap. The students are so motivated. It's cool.

I love that my DH (who really hates to do things like diapers and dishes) is handling the home front so I can take not one but TWO classes this semester/

I love that I came home from class to find my DH (in his underwear, LOL) watching the inauguration. When I pointed out to him that he had to get to work, he gestured at the kids and said "This is important. They should see this. And I really want to watch it."
