Another weird rash thread

Elise is on day 3 of no diapers (except at night time, which are dry in the morning anyway). She's had a couple accidents, but for the most part, she's doing really well.

The 2 accidents she has had have been while she was wearing panties, so we've been letting her run naked for now. I don't know why, but when she's naked she always goes to the potty instead of peeing on herself like she will with panties on.

So anyway, now she has this red rash on her little butt cheeks. It just looks red, like a sunburn. No bumps, and she's not scratching at it. It doesn't seem to be causing her any discomfort. It's just really really red and I have no clue why.

Do you think it's because her skin has been exposed so much? That's about all I can think of.

not sure, but i am jealous she is potty trained already. sebastian wants nothing to do with it.

It could just be that her little butt had been touching everything under the sun. I know when DD went bare butt when she would sit on the carpet her butt would get red and stay red for a bit.

Grace gets it from just sitting on anything because her skin is very, very sensitive. Bootie germs freak me out a bit, but she is the same way about peeing in the panties but not while naked.

Bella, don't worry. Cayden is almost FIVE and still does not poop in the pot. Only pees. I've started having him clean himself up with as minimal help as I can get away with. I'm not mean about it, just matter of fact. It's just getting to be too big and too yucky.
