Does anyone know of a recipe to make chicken nuggets?

I don't know if I've ever seen nuggets that weren't processed or frozen, etc.
If so- please share!!!

Thanks!

I don't know if I would call it a recipe. But, this is how I make them.

Boneless skinless chicken breasts , as many as your family will eat. (for my family of 7 we use two and have left overs.

one egg beaten with a little water or milk

potato chips or crackers crushed and put in a bag

Cut up chicken breasts into bit size pieces (I use my kitchen scissors)

dip pieces of chicken in eggs

shake them in the bag with chip or cracker crumbs.

bake at 350 until done (about 30 min.) To tell if it is done cut the biggest nugget in half If it is done the rest will be too.

You can use crushed Kashi TLC crackers and a bit of Old Bay or other seasonings in a bag and use a thin coat of yogurt instead of egg wash.

I use chicken tenders, dip in egg, dip in a mixture of wheat germ, wheat flour, bread crumbs, salt and peper, and cook in a skillet (with a couple tablespoons of olive oil).

Add just a bit of coconut to whatever you bread them with and they are super yummy! : )

I agree with the above. I have used the following as breading - bread crumbs, potato chips, any half empty bag of cracker, chip, etc in my food processor to make crumbs, corn flakes, rice crispies (not so good), just flour.

I have used the following as seasonings in addition to the breading- Lypton Onion Soup Mix, old bay, italian herbs, minced dried roasted peppers or tomatos, garlic powder, etc.

Whatever you cover the chicken with, bake at about 400 for 30 mins or until they reach the right temperature and are crispy on the outside.
