View Full Version : I have an Interview and STBXH may get fired

They're processing STBXH for discharge from the Coast Guard on the grounds of being "unfit for duty" (which probably means he got in trouble again).

But I have a telephone interview scheduled for Tuesday morning with a company that has been around 60 years and is seeing growth even in this economy.

It would only be $10 an hour at first, and it might be temporary - but it's an Administrative Assistant position - which will really help me get something higher paying & more permanent - plus it's a paycheck! I'm really excited.

I should add I'm not excited about him getting fired. That wouldn't be nice.

He's going to appeal the decision if the guys moving for his discharge get it approved. I hope he wins.

Good luck!! I've not been around, multiple computer issues but ds said mama tonight and made me think of you and your dd; I prefer mama too ;)

I'm crossin everything for ya:) So, did the X tell you what he did to get in trouble? Must be pretty serious to be considered for discharge.

Oh man.That really sucks. I'm sorry you have to deal with this. I hope he doesn't get discharged( for your sake) , and I hope he quits screwing up, for the kid's sake.

Wow. That sounds great. As you said - your opportunity sounds like an excellent stepping stone.

Too bad about your ex, though. Being dishonorbly discharged is NOT good.

I've left messages for STBX, but he hasn't called back since the conversation I mentioned.

My interview is tomorrow morning - I hope to have a wonderful update for you tomorrow. :D
