A friend of mine is currently in labor. Theres a long story behind it but the short one is, she had originally planned to have a good friend of hers there for the labor, and decided last minute that she wanted to be alone for the labor, because she didn't want anyone seeing her in labor, and didnt want to feel nervous or restricted. This led to hurt feelings and the friend wouldn't talk to her for a few days. I was asked that when she went into labor, not to tell this friend that she was in labor, because she didnt want the friend showing up at the hospital.
Well she is in labor now, but she posted on her facebook that she was in labor. I asked her before she went to the hospital if she didn't care if the friend knew. She said she didn't really care, the friend would find out eventually anyways.
Now the friend just sent me a message saying she knows this woman is in labor, and that she has all the stuff they had prepared, like straps and massage oils and things, she can't get a hold of my friend, and she wants to know if she should go drop them off at the hospital.
I have no idea what I should tell her. I don't really see the harm in her leaving stuff at the front desk that could benefit my friend, they won't let her in anyways, and my friend did say that she would find out... but I am wondering if I would be violating her privacy by telling her that she is at the hospital.
