Did anyones child have these symptoms? DD is going to the Dr at 3 today.
I'm so worried about the flu and we did not get flu shots. Of course my mom tells me that so far 8 kids passed away from the flu. Way to help my worries mom.
Please help ease my mind.

high fever, sore throat and vomiting? I'd be more worried about strep.

i was worried as well but she did say her thraot got a bit better. i look at her throat and i saw nothing. i guess it coult still be a possibility. it was sore enough to make her cry yesterday. nak
Can you get some suppositories? It's no fun for anyone, but if it brings the fever down, it'd be worth it IMO.

well she goes to the DR today so I'm not sure what/if they will give her. She seemed to do so much better but then the fever hit again and she is down and out. Crazy how fast she changed.

My guess would be strep too. When my dd (I think her, not ds) gets strep, she doesn't complain about a sore throat. She compains about her ears hurting.
It is amazing how quick they can go from feeling good to feeling bad and then back again.

Poor baby I hope she starts to feel better soon. DD2 would get strep pretty often when she was little. She had the high fevers and vomiting as well. Get well soon little sweetie.

I don't mean to say good that she has strep, but good that it's something minor and is easily treatable. I had strep or an ear infection every 2-3 months when young. I got the shot of penicillian in my butt because I'd progressed to scarlett fever (or is it rhumatic fever) really quick.

Poor baby. The last time DD1 got strep I requested the shot in the butt, because well, I was extremely tired and stressed out already, w/o having to remember meds 4 times a day every day for 10 days.
I hope she feels better soon.
