5 min nurse??

hello....my 2 week old will nurse on one side of 5 min sometimes and fall asleep....but then at night he will eat for longer periods...but act like he is starving. He poos and pees after every feeding....i am so lost.....

For a baby that age, 5 minutes is probably not long enough to get all the milk and fat that he needs. When babies are really young, it's common for them to fall asleep when the milk flow slows down, but you need to keep him awake so that he will get more milk. I would recommend trying to do breast compression to keep him nursing longer. I would also try to wake him up when he falls asleep by burping him, changing his diaper, and switching sides.
