Auto chamois makes an excellent supplement to a cloth diaper.

I just thought y'all might want to know. I bought some relatively cheap poly chamois product and cut it into soaker sized pieces. Haven't had a diaper leak since.

Yes, I know there are similar products intended for diapers. But I was tired of the leaks and wanted something I could find in a local store, right now.

What's a chamois?

Auto chamois is this product they intended to dry your freshly washed car. The really for real chamois is a leather product (but it feels more like suede and is really thin). It's really, really super absorbent. I used an artificial product. It seemed wrong (possibly stinky) to put a leather product in a diaper.

ahhh..I wonder if I could find some around here. DH decided that he hated cloth diapers because they leak when he put them on DD, so I broke down and bought disposables for him. I need to make some more covers, but that will have to wait, I haven't the money.
