Welcome! A quick heads up ~ you will be taken more seriously here if you use capital letters and punctuation. If you are looking for breastfeeding help, I suggest you try the General Breastfeeding Forum.

Yes, bf.com is a good place if you're having issues with breastfeeding. You're free to ask questions on any of the forums but the General Breastfeeding board is a support board where new moms usually go to get help. This board is a catch all where you can post about anything and you don't have to be breastfeeding to post here.

Welcome! :)

Talk to her about what? Breastfeeding? You can talk to anyone about anything your comfortable sharing and asking about. This is the internet though and you should protect your privacy, don't give people your real name or any identifying personal information to people you don't know.

Go to the link a few posts up. That is a breastfeeding support board and yes it has quite a few new mothers. :)

Well, considering the fact that even though you don't know any of us, you're talking to us anyway, so I'll go out on a limb and say you'll probably be just as safe talking to her.

Well, frick ~ that's twice tonight I've missed something important in a post. How in the hell did I miss the accent mark substituted for an apostrophe? Time for me to do something constructive to recharge my brain cells ~

I wonder if she POAS, or decided to wait because they were all covered in snow?

alejorge
03-02-2009, 09:19 PM
well i can say she most likely didn't POAS today......she was in the chatroom for quite a while today and just kept talking about not getting her period and what not. Nothing about a test ever mentioned by her.

EvilAmy

Sigh.

If you have questions I would highly reccomend the general board. There are very knowledgable women that post there. NM2 does not strick me as being entirely knowledgable as she can not tell when she's having a period and when she's not, despite bleeding every month.

Please tell me she did not tell you to visit this forum first. If she did I would have to say she was trying to send a lamb to the wolves den. Okay so we're all rather mild but we are rather blunt and opinionated.

My_baby_Girl

How the hell do you not no when your period is due? You have to be a real dumb ass not to no when your due.

EvilAmy

I was going to agree with Cosita for a minute. But then while reading I came across NM2's tradmark ` instead of '. So I think NM2 is doing some chain yanking. But if BabyGirl is indeed not fluent in English, I would consider us assholes.

MiMi_of_4
03-03-2009, 08:37 AM
IME, using proper punctuation and capitalization are universal regardless of how fluently one speaks or writes a language. And what's with using an accent mark to replace an apostrophe? Hell, I can't even find the accent mark on my keyboard ~ lol ~

That's funny because when NM2 first started posting I thought, "what the heck is wrong with her apostrophe button??" It took weeks for me to figure out she was purposely pushing that button that I never knew had a purpose.

NMof2, if you're trolling, this is one of the lamest troll threads ever.

I was with Cosita thinking this girl wasn't fluent in English. I hope if that is the case, she found her way over to the general board and some help with her bf issues.

Thanks, tata! Now I don`t have any excuse for not using the accent mark any time I would use an apostrophe! I'm glad you shared; otherwise I wouldn`t have found it. Don`t you feel important, now? Couldn`t you just jump for joy?

I was letting it go, as well. I have a history of really irregular periods, and it is perfectly possible to NOT know when your period is due. We don't all ovulate and menstruate like clockwork.

Okay so maybe we are assholes (and of course some of are not. I don't want people saying "Well, I'm not an asshole. You're the asshole, or butthole, or cornhole, or bleached bumkis, etc. I already know I am an asshole, so now that we know where we stand I can now use an elipse and end this side rant.)

For the whole menses thing. I'm well aware of wonky cycles. It was that NM2 posted the same exact question 2 months in a row, she's bleeding and wonders if she's pregnant and should she go to the Dr office to get a pregnancy test. All possiblities were offered and still we were talking to a wall and of course the thread went to shit and giggles. Again I'm well aware of wonky cycles.
