2 month old sleeping to long at night?

I have a 2 month old who sometimes sleeps for 9 hr stretches at night. He is a breastfed baby and is gaining weight at a good pace. Is it safe for him to sleep that long? Will that start to mess with my milk supply? I am becoming pretty engorged at night. Thanks!!

9 hours is a pretty long stretch especially for a 2 month old. You might try to wake him up every few hours to try and nurse him. Although he might be doing just fine when it comes to growth, you are right to worry about your milk supply. See if adding two, three feedings at night works for you, it will definitely help your engorgement.
