There is a pic of him on the link. He had pro-day for NFL camp on Wednesday. I really hope he gets invited to go. He has had some tough breaks the past couple of seasons, but he is an awesome player and he is missed when he isn't on the field. He and his girlfriend could really use the money that camp and/or an NFL contract could bring for my nephew. He is almost three and is very smart but hardly verbal at all and services are about to run out when he turns 3 in July.

That's awesome. I have fantastic dreams that DS will be a pro football player. :)

Michele, good luck to him.!

I don't understand about services stopping at 3,though. It should go over to the other part of the school district .

They are concerned that the school district services aren't that great. I already told them that in the summer when I am off that I will go down to their district with them and help them get services for my nephew. I think they would prefer to keep the speech therapist that they have, but that person is expensive.

Oh, I see. Sometimes that is true..they are so understaffed. I will say that DS has had most excellent therapists since turning 3. My issue has been the struggle for more time.

Oh, Michele, I hope he gets invited. (I couldn't see what he looks like, but what little I saw looks pretty damned good. ;))

As for speech therapists, our school (middle school) didn't even have one for most of the school year last year.
