I guess it's really no different than anyone else who uses makeup to change her features, but it does make me sad that someone will go through all of this to change her natural features.
You can fast-forward through about the first 45 seconds.

Better than surgery. Koreans gets their daughters eye lid surgery so they have caucasian eyes, and their children tongue surgery so they can pronounce English better.
My exhs cousin had to be shipped to Korea for the eyelid surgery because she was getting married.

The fold is supposed to be prettier because it looks like white eyes. I think it's really stupid. My son's eyes fold, so Koreans think he's so much better looking. Odd, IMO.

Seems like a lot of work, I like my make up routine to fall with in a ten minute window.

I think Asian eyes are so beautiful, I've always wished my eyes were almond shaped.

Why? The variety we have is so beautiful. Her eyes are pretty just as they are.

I don't know how she could comfortably blink?
I think asian women are very beautiful. I think she was prettier before.

I have only slight Asian features. My cousins were blessed with the single creased eyelids though, and I've always envied that. I would love to have eyelids like them. This isn't new. They even sell products on this Jlist site because it seems kooky to us.

I think she looked better in the after picture, just because she looked happier.
It doesn't bother me or make me feel bad for the girls who want to use this product. Whatever floats your boat.
ETA: And I rather see someone doing this than shoot botulism into their face.
Women do bizarre things in the name of "beauty." I may not be America's Next Top Model, but I'm beautiful like me.

I wouldn't do it, but it doesn't seem so bad to me. Of all things that women do to "improve" their looks, a little glue on the eyelids isn't all that bad. Hair dye, cosmetics, hair removal creams, hair relaxers, perms, permanent make up, inject this, cut off that...

Well, I'm giving them props for creativity, LOL! What a procuct! And it doesn't seem all that bad to me. Makeup in general is messing with what nature gave you. Lots of people curl their eyelashes and wear mascara because they did not get genetically long lashes. What she did with the glue did seem to make her eyes look bigger (not necessarily better, but larger) so maybe that is the goal rather than trying to look Caucasian. My dad's wife is half Japanese and she had some sort of cosmetic surgery on her eyelids. I'm not really sure what for. I didn't really notice much of a difference before and after.

everyone wants what they did not get. Ive always wanted super long lashes, but do not resort to mascara as it makes my eyelashes fall out!
Instead I got a gorgeous baby boy (Julian) with big doe eyes and super long dark lashes.
BTW, my DS1 has asian looking eyes, as asian as they can get without actually being asian. I love them, he looks so adorable when he smiles!

I was just going to make the lip injection comparrison!
Yeah, it's hard for me to think of a well-known white actress who hasn't done this.

Since I'm 42, I couldn't help but think, "Damn, girl. When you get older, that's going to be horrible for your skin!" (Older skin doesn't bounce back as nicely.) I'm not sure poking at your eyeball like that on a regular basis is healthy, either.

Did you see pics of my grandbabies (dsd's babies)? Dh is half PR, and the babies are a big mix of hispanic. They look Asian to me (and to CatSoup :p). Then again, dh's PR grandmother had Asian eyes, too.
