Allergen question

When can you introduce shellfish into a child's diet? My DD is 15 months and we are planning on having shrimp tomorrow and I wasn't sure if she can have some. We have no family history of mahor food allergies

When ds turned 1, doctor just told us he couldn't have eggs, pb, and honey, other than that everything is fine. He has been eating fish and shrimp since about 14 months on. However we didn't give him any fried fish, thinking it would upset his stomach.

Why honey? While some experts say to wait until 18 months, most say it is safe at 12 months.
