Real Time feeding question

I was just feeding my son, who latched well and was eating for a few minutes. He then started to fuss and became hysterical. I removed him from the latch, burped him, swaddled him, tried calling him, and then offered him the breast again. He got fussy again, so he is being burped by my husband currently. He should be hungry as this his feeding time...HELP!

Sometimes the feedings are quicker than you think. He may actually be done even if it has only been a few minutes. Don't force him to eat. He will take what he wants.

The baby's feedings get shoter and shorter, not longer. It can be confusing in the beginning, but trust the baby. He will eat if he is hungry.

Thanks! He is calmer...I will wait for him to tell me when he wants to eat more and not worry so much! He is now falling asleep!
