I thought that since everyone else was sharing the good news... here is my new abode.

We love the back yard, the porch, and all the new appliances.
I hate the apples on the tile countertop, the electrical stuff needs work, and the green carpet.

When we get our $8000 check from uncle sam after the purchase, we are going to put half of it into updates.

Congrats! I like the deck as well. :)
FYI - instead of ripping the kitchen apart to get rid of the apples, you can always have the tile painted. :)

I love that deck! I would be eating all my meals out there.

Congratulations!

Congratulations! It's really nice. :)

The price is good, but, damn, the taxes there are high!

I missed the pictures, darn! Congrats anyway! I'm jealous of the 8 grand. We bought our house last year, so we get $7,500 from the feds and have to pay it back over the next 15 years. Still a good deal as it is intrest free, but not as good as 8 grand of free money.

Really. They are incredibly low for the area. If you move to Allegheny County or Cranberry TWP (within 20-30 miles) you would pay almost double that.
