I went to bed early thinking I would catch up on some needed sleep and even maybe sleep in. Stupid internal clock woke me up at 4 am and now I'm sitting here surfing the web.

I'm awake, but I should be at a quarter after 2 in the afternoon ;)
I'm catching up on some emailing, but I should be outside measuring the garden space so I can figure up the sizes of the raised beds I'm planning on installing on Tuesday (I should have had them done already, but April showers put me a bit behind).
When does the sun come up there, Amy? It's been bright around 6:30 here.

It's 7:30 here. Jacob has a fencing tournament this morning; otherwise, I'd still be asleep.

I think it's starting to be light by 6:30 MM. I'm usually busy shoving kids out of beds for school to notice, and on weekends I try to sleep in as long as the baby is asleep(which when I'm lucky is 8am) . I'll make a point to go out and see the sun rise this morning.

Well, the last of my cup of coffee is gone, so I'd better finish getting ready and get out of here! See y'all later!

Emily is up at 5, so that means I am too. Actually I've been awake since 4 when Molly woke up to nurse. Which is why I go to bed early.

I feel for you, Amy. DS2 went through a time where he was awake at 5 or 5:30. Now their usual wake up time is anywhere between 6-6:30. DS2 actually will wake up early and call for me. When I go in there he says, "Down stairs and snuggle?" Which really means he will lay with me on the couch while he tells me stories and plays with my hair. Sneaky little booger. I doze on and off, but really I will take missing out on sleep because I secretly love the us time.

To answer the sun rise question. It doesn't get bright out by 6:30 but it does start to get light. However there is a bird outside that starts singing at 6am sharp. It was singing yesterday and this morning.

Stillme, I've been sleeping downstairs in the guest room for the last several months. I love the mornings I wake up to Zoey crawling all over me patting my face and pulling my hair. Or even Xander wandering in and saying "Mom, I've decided I'm hungry aaaaannnd thristy. I need orange stuff (juice) and peanut butter and crackers." (Ocassionaly it's cereal or pancakes)
