Oh, no, I'm so sorry. Broken arms do suck.
Which part did you break? Make sure your shoulder is not also messed up.
I messed my shoulder up when I broke my arm; I have two different injuries, including the rotary cuff. When my arm still wasn't healing, the doctor never did figure out that the problems were coming from my shoulder. However, it only took one chiro visit to be diagnosed. Research confirmed what the chiro said. He helped me more than physical therapy, which made it worse in some ways since the therapist was forcing my arm to straighten, thus putting more pressure on the shoulder.

Bless your heart. :( You broke your radius and ulna; when broken, they almost always require surgery in adults and even in older children. I know you're in a lot of pain right now. Hang in there.

my fingers fall asleep easy and my thumb pops is that normal
I believe it's not uncommon. My entire hand was numb for weeks after I broke my arm; I couldn't use my fingers or hand at all. Regardless, you should mention it to your doctor to be on the safe side.
Could you by chance have injured your thumb, too, when you fell?

Yeah, it would make sense that your thumb is affected. I'm really sorry you're having to deal with this.
Is your husband helping you?
