WAHMs - how you got where you are now?

JC about how you got to be where you are at now. What steps did you take to get where you are now? I'm curious because I would like to find a way to supplement our income and be able to spend time with my children.

If you sold stuff online, what was it? Did you make it yourself? Where did you sell it? How much did you sell it for?

Mainly looking for ideas on what I should make to sell.

I make and sell pouch slings. I don't make anywhere near enough to supplement our income, mainly just for personal spending cash. I have two other part time jobs that allow me to work from home, thankfully.

As far as the making and selling thing, I think it all hinges on good promotions and a decent website. I only market my slings through little postcards around town and a craigslist listing. I wasn't interested in investing in a website. I have a friend who does well selling little bows and barrettes on Esty.com.
