I am so eager to get to Mending day I am starting early, lol.

On my list of things to be did:
Mail 3 packages
Line the purse I made, so Mollie can actually use it
get some paint to paint the bedroom. ( I have been putting that off far too long).

Now I have to finish cleaning the house so I can be all caught up on regular stuff to free me up to catch up on my procrastinating tomorrow.

Make sense?

LOL, yeah, that made sense, actually.

I need to get crackin' more on this chair I've been working on for weeks now. I need to get a dust mask before I go any further, though.

one of the things I got done this week:

It's the same quilt. There are little triangles that flip back and forth that fasten to a button in the middle of each square.

I made this quilt about 2 1/2 years ago, It was all done- except for 6 buttons. It has been hanging on the wall buttoned one way for two years. So I finally took the time to add the missing buttons on it so I could flip it the other way.

I really love when people understand that sort of thing. 'Cause it looks kinda nutty to write out.

That is so cool! Did you make that up, or did you find a pattern for that?

Yeah I know what you mean. I love that quilt. It is so pretty. I have a precious moments latch hook kit that I started when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. She is three years old now and I maybe have a quarter of it done. But it was kind of a pain in the butt because it didn't have the colors on it. It was just all white so I had to look at the pattern and count and say Ok I have to go 57 up and 29 across and it'll be blue and the next one with be green etc.etc. Then if I would get distracted I would have to start all over again. It was a pain. I guess it will be my life long project:hugegrin:

Oh no, I did not come up with that. The pattern is called Kameleon Quilt Night and Day . It's here:

Eldrid Royset Forde is an absolute genius.I have never seen anything quite like the things she designs, just brilliant.

My DD did some latchhook thingies.. She would use markers to color the rungs so she could keep them straight.

Hey that's a great idea. Thank you!!! I still have to do the counting thing but at least it will only be one more time, because I can count it and mark it at the same time:)
