I know that a newborn is able to find and latch on to the breast instinctively, but how long do they have this ability? If a baby had latch problems in the beginning and stopped breastfeeding, until what age can the breast crawl/ rebirthing technique be used effectively to try breastfeeding again?

I did some fishing around the net and couldn't find anything suggesting at what age this would no longer be helpful, sorry.
However, regardless of the age of the baby in question, I think we could probably come up with alternate ways to try to reintroduce the breast. And as long as someone was ready to help with the slippery baby in the bath, I don't see how at least trying the rebirthing technique could do any harm, regardless of the age of the baby.
