Give me your suggestions/advice please.

DS is 14 almost 15 months and i am ready for several reasons (sore during AF, just want my body back)

BUT he's super attached to me. He will take a sippy but not if he's really tired, He will climb on me and try and pull up my shirt.

He isn't very verbal yet so telling him they are sleeping doesn't work. We don't have a schedule really so I have NO idea how to start weaning....advice please? (ADDING that he won't let DH near him when he's tired so it's all on me)

Also we co sleep, should I tackle that before weaning??

I like the night weaning method advised by Dr. Jay Gordon. I'll try to find a link for it. Basically it says to choose the 7 hours of sleep most important to you. Nurse baby as you normally would for sleep. Nurse as you normally would any time before those 7 hours hit. Once you're into that 7 hour stretch, then you nurse baby when he wakes - but not to sleep. Make him stop before he falls asleep so he learns to fall asleep not on the breast. After he's slept, you can nurse him again if he wakes, but again not to sleep. You do this for 3 days. I'll see if I can find the link to explain the rest.

Oh, throughout all of this you continue to co-sleep. He says that's actually best.
