My DD will turn 1 year in 2 days and is starting to push away. :( I am NOT ready at all for her to wean and am hoping to try to get her back before she leaves the breast completely. She will nurse overnight, if she wakes up and then we have a good session, but other times it is can be a struggle.

I work full-time now and finished pumping about two weeks ago, when I just couldn't get anything to come out. I do still have milk, but it certainly isn't the supply it once was.

I have tried a nursing necklace, and worked a bit, but not like I had hoped.

I nursed my DS until he was 2 and am so hoping to do EN with DD - I would be devastated if our nursing time were over so soon.

HELP!!!

I would probably treat this as a nursing strike. Twelve months is a little young to self-wean. Could it be that she is working on her first set of molars?

I agree that it could be a nursing strike. If it were me I'd probably make sure I pump at the times she refuses to nurse just to keep my supply up.
