Poas I guess but tell me how unlikely it is that I'm preggo.

Dh had a vasectomy when I was six mos preggers w ds who's now 15 months. Recently we are only nursing at bed and through night.
Would that change cause me to be about 6 days late?

Tmi------ I'm having white discharge.

Wtheck is going on????

Did your DH have his sperm count tested after the vas?

No. Believe me. I know how stupid that is.....

I've heard that it is pretty common for guys to skip that step. I asked because my DH has his vasectomy when I was six months preg, and his sperm count came back zero. I am hoping that can't change, right?

ETA- Trust me Dh was pretty mortified to carry in his cup-o-semen to the lab.

You're going to worry until you POAS. If you're like me - you'll need to pee on another stick in about 2 weeks just to be sure - even if AF shows up late.

And I'm sure you've been married long enough to know that "encouraging" your DH is less effective than that operation likely was.

Idk. I haven't given up all hope of af coming... I'm sure he did have the surgery just not if it worked... Ugh

Decreasing nursing shouldn't have cases a delay right?

No. Decreasing nursing should not have caused a delay.

If you were particularly stressed, that could delay ovulation. If you changed your sleeping schedule or traveled to another time zone, or started exercising a lot more, those things can delay ovulation too.

It's very unlikely, but not impossible.

How old are you? I know a LOT of women (myself included) that had changes in their cycles/flow/etc once they hit their 30s.

With DD I did not get my AF back until she was 14 months old and I was regular. With DS, got my AF back when he was only 10 months old and was sort of regular at first, but with him shifting around with his nursing now at almost 2 yrs old, I can never predict when my AF will be late. I have read up about it because I am always sure I am prego, and apparently it is not uncommon to be irregular when you are nursing, even if you were regular before. DH just got a vasectomy on Friday and we will definitely be getting the sperm count!

Good luck! I hope you get the results you want. Just a note; a girl I work withs husband had a vasectomy and a positive sperm count for quite some time. One more and he would have had to have a repeat procedure, but then he was negative. Sorry, but good luck.
