I'm trying to take pictures of my inky black poodle, and it's not going well. He's just too dark. He looks like a pool of black.

I'm going to see if DH can do better.

I'd post a pic of my respectably ancient Maine coon, but she's psychic and disappears whenever she's wanted for some reason. But sit down with a book or a bowl of cereal, and she appears from nowhere!

Smitty the killer. We got him from the APL and I have never met a more protective dog. If we are out in the yard and the boys make the smallest of peeps he comes flying.

beautiful animals Still Me! Alas, no birds or cats for me, i am allergic. Smitty really looks like he is part lab. He is gorgeous! i wish mine were that short haired. i bet he doesn't shed much!

Thanks. I wish that I was allergic to birds *ack*cough*sneeze* Oh wait..I think I suddenly am! That bird hates me with a passion. She actually hates anyone, but DH. That is typical though. She was imported (before it became illegal). She still suffers damage from that.

Smit is part lab, part golden retriever. I wish I had batteries because you should see him now! He has filled out so well. He is becoming quite muscular. He doesn't shed too much, but he does have the golden traits. He has a "mane", he has the curly hair on the tops of his hips, and he has the large bump on his head & chest. We love our baby.

if you lived by me we could have doggy/kid play dates! i wish my baby Ekard would fill out. Drake is doing quite well in the weight department tho.

LOL, Noobie will ONLY drink from the toilet if her water bowl has been empty for too long(too long being as few as 1second after she drank it all and whined at me), and REALLY I don't even think she does it then,
She just makes a big to-do of huffing and heading that way like she is GOING to drink the toilet water if I don't refill her water RIGHT THIS SECOND.

Unfortunatelymy kitty is a fattie.We found her and she was estimated to be about 7 months and she was 5 lbs. She doesn't get fed a whole lot but she holds on to every morsel and is now about 15-16 lbs. She is a very lazy house cat now. The streets for her kitten years must have been tough on her, she is very appreciative!

That's an orange winged amazon, isn't it? It's totally normal for those birds to be evile to everybody but "their" person, imported or not. I had one named GiGi who absolutely HATED me. I gave her to my mom, and not a single problem out of her. I birdsat a weekend for her, and that bitch still screamed at me like I was trying to kill her instead of feed her. "lol9"

Smoke looks evile, too. lol.

Camille, she is a blue fronted amazon. Like some of the Blue fronts, she has lost some of her blue throughout the years. She does have some around her beak and her eyes. I don't believe most of the lies that they are friendly. lol They either bond to another bird, or their one human. I feel bad for her because DH works a lot and when he is home, she would love for him to spend all of his time with her (which he obviously can't do). I'd give her back to my MIL in an instant, but it would be a death sentence for her. She only has eyes for DH.

And...um...nice pet? *shudder* lol

I love Maine Coons! Do they ever attack if they get laid on by a toddler?

Surprisingly no lol. Teko and Tigra had grown up without kids and they have gotten along wonderfully with my 2 sons. I was afraid I would have to send my cats to my parents for awhile but never had to.

Oh and Teko is the all brown one, it is Tigra who let my oldest lay right on top of him hehe, but now Teko lets my 1 year old lay right on top of him, pretty funny.
