s/o Sassy can't change pages?

Sassy said that nothing would change with the knot taking over bf.com,
but it seems a BIG thing is Sassy can't do all the things she used to be able to do.

Ok, I tried something new to try to promote the LC forum. It looks like it has failed so I will be revamping it again. Thanks you for the input and opinions. I thought that maybe leaving the forum open all the time might give the LC's more questions. I am having a problem with the scheduling of LC's. I have not been able to change pages or my lc schedule for many weeks. The knot took away my ability to use the FTP. I am trying to get it back or trying to get them to change my schedule for me. All is a bit fruitless at this point and I am trying to deal. It is very frustrating for me. Please bear with me.

The Ask an LC forum schedule is incorrect and Sassy can't change it.

The home page still says under Ask an LC dates from the end of March

I'll imagine that even if Sassy agreed to combine some of the Breastfeeding boards, she can't do things like that anymore.

If the Ask an LC board is a failure, Sassy can't make it go away or change much about it either.

Unless Sassy can actually change things on "her" board, what is she now, only a super Moderator, rather than an Admin?

I will be getting the FTP back.
They are just making changes so they can post ads and new content too.
If we both are using the FTP at the same time right now we are over laying each others work.
I still have control of the boards.
I could combine some of the forums if I wanted to.
I don't choose to do that at this time.
I am still the Admin not just a super moderator.:hugegrin:

I tried leaving the LC forum open so moms could post questions at any time and my LC's could have a little more freedom at answering questions.

That didn't seem to work well so I will continue to open the forum all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

All the questions are answered at this point.

why won't you combine the forums that get like 1 post a week?
that makes no logical sense to me.

can you post an updated list of the next few ask an LC scheduled times until you can get your ask an LC calendar updated?

I know some of the forums do not get very much traffic.
I set the forums up with the boards approval over a year ago.
I don't want to get rid of any of the forums I have at this time whether they get a little or a lot of traffic. I think and the board thought it was important to have them. I still think it is important to have them at this time.

I am working on the LC calendar. I have a meeting with theknot today.

The board was a totally different place when everyone discussed the forums the last time.
the board is a living entity in some ways, and needs to be able to change with the times.

I believe that most members would agree to a scaling back of the sheer number of forums related to breastfeeding questions in order to concentrate the expertise here to help the most number of moms. I thought that was what was the basis of bf.com's existence?
