I picked up my dd2 today at a friend's house. They live in an apt. building and the nanny brought down all kids (3). The littlest, age 2, stood in the building's entrance, and the door was held open by the nanny as my dd just had walked out, when an older man approached. I was just about to tell the nanny to move S out of the way (only a few seconds had passed) when he shoved the little girl aside and brushed past the nanny almost hitting her with his huge back back.
I turned around and said "excuse me? The little girl doesn't have eyes in the back of her head, you could have just told her to move" and he yelled at us "you and your stupid little kids (in front of all of them) and then went on a rant (can't remember all the stuff he said). I rolled my eyes at the nanny as he was still ranting and said goodbye. I basically walked out the gate with him, him still talking about our "stupid little kids" and I got pissed at that point and told him "you are a mean old man" and that's when he started going ballistic (I know, I know, I should have just let it go, but it was so mean to shove that little girl, I just couldn't). So he spat at me "you stupid little cunt. Why don't you shove your stupid little kid up your cunt if you even have one". I turned to him and said with a laugh "of course I do, that's where she came out of" (just didn't want to give him the satisfaction of being able to hurt with words) ...
I entered the car and locked the doors; and waited until my body stopped shaking. Geez, I sure hope he doesn't have any kids...
Ps. Now I remember, he then went on saying "well you wouldn't know, you are too skinny to be a real woman anyway"!!!

What Hamm said. My guess is he may be mentally ill.

What an asshole. I'm not so sure I'd pin it on dementia either. Some people are really THAT mean.

Wow what an ass. I am sorry you had to experience that kind of a person. How was your dd? Did she get scared?

She kind of just opened her eyes wide. She's heard stupid before lol, her older sister loves that word, but I doubt she knows what a cunt is ;), so the word part was way above her head (she speaks mainly Hebrew anyway). She understood that the man was angry, but I think she didn't make too much of it. Without understanding the words, this was just a man hissing sounds and making an angry face.

What an ass. I seriously doubt he's mentally ill. People don't have to be mentally ill to be full of assholishness.

*hugs* What a bad experience!
On a side note, very cool that she is speaking mostly Hewbrew, I love it when children get a chance to learn another language and then English. My ex-sil's son is the only one of the three children who grew up together (my dd1 and her two children) who is fluent in Arabic, because he is the only one who was immersed in it for the first five years. Though my dd can usually get the gist of a conversation, she understands much more than she speaks.

Oh I would have called the police and blocked his car in until they came! Well maybe not blocked his car in but if he spit on you that is an arrestable offence. I love having people arrested for being assholes.

Maret00, the "he spat at me" was a figure of speech for the way he spoke his words, they came out like spit, fast and furious :). He didn't actually spit. He spat his words. He is obviously a very unhappy, nasty person. I was amazed at how he was able to rock my core though with his hate and his words, I was shaking for a long time, literally unable to control my hands. I hope that he isn't a ticking time bomb. There wasn't anything I could do legally; I don't think that they would have arrested him for verbal assault. After all, I called him a mean old man as well, which wasn't all that nice... it's one of those cases where someone harbors a lot of anger and it may one day cause him to do harm - I am glad that the two friends I have will move out of the apt. building next month, so I won't have to go back there anymore.

Yes. This past Christmas eve, an old man cussed me up one side and down the other. I've never in my life been called so many cunts and bitches and motherfuckers, but he was vein throbbing, eye twitching, stomping enraged. It was the biggest road rage incident I'd ever witnessed (best I could tell, he'd tried to pass me in a turn lane and I didn't yield to him, so it pissed him off-- duh, I thought he was turning and was not intentionally trying to block him; I inadvertently engaged him). I was sitting in my car and he jumped out of his at a light and stood screaming in my window. I probably should have let it go, but I said, "hey, you should write children's books." Then he said he could kill me and I called 911. Sometimes it's probably just better to keep it to yourself.

OMG, I would have called too. Did the police come? Did he leave? It's so scary that some people walk around with these anger issues, just waiting to unload them onto someone.

I had a guy try to back his car into me because I was following the road and using my turn signal. Then he tried slaming his brakes so I would crash into him. I called the police. Dont think they ever found him though.

When the light turned green, he got into his vehicle and pulled away. I stayed behind, not passing at all though he seemed to want me to, and gave 911 his tag number and told them a store ahead I would pull into to meet police. The guy even pulled off once. I'm not sure whether he wanted me to stop and battle with him or what, but I turned short of that and went around the block. When I got to the store I was to meet the police, they were pulling in about the same time I did. I never saw the other guy again. The police took a report and called in the tag, but I've never heard anything else about it. The guy was from several states away.

What is wrong with people these days? I honestly don't remember people being like this when I was a kid...
We were at the bar last night (my bff and her bf, and his friend), and some guy called my bff a bitch because she went out to dance when he wanted to buy her a shot! Ridiculous.
