Why yes, yes I do!
I bleached out my red and went for a medium blonde, but felt too washed out. I had a teenage type urge to do a funky color. I told DH that maybe I was too old for that shit. Then I thought, to hell with it. I am staying at home and have no dress code, I can do what I damn well please!
I think it might have been a good teaching moment for DD1, too. She said, "Mo-om! Ugh! Why are you doing it blue? What if your fwiends waugh??" So I told her that if they laughed and didn't want to hang out with me because I had blue hair, they weren't very good friends!
Anyway, I am anxious to see it. I have 2minutes to go!

Sorry, had to run errands.
Well, it looks like a blueberry, lol. DH took a phone pic but it's fuzzy so I'll have him retake it tomorrow.
Funny thing is, I keep forgetting that it's blue and then wonder why people are staring at me. haha

Meh. I don't like this pic. I feel like a fuzzy pic of a fat drag queen, but it'll have to do till I retake the pics.

Heh. It's blue, isn't it???? I am sort of shocked at how blue it is, too. Dudes, they totally had it at, wait for it, Walgreens! Comes with the bleach and everything. Although, the bleach made me really, really sick. Bad migraine, icky tummy, woozy, etc. Probably a good thing I don't work in a salon anymore , which makes me sad.
BHF, it does look like a wig, lol. Kinda feels like one, too, if I don't condition lol

Awww, you don't like it? That is ok,lol. I'm not sure I like it. I do one minute and then the next minute don't. I don't think it's common in my area to have a weird hair color so there is lots, and lots of stares. And dumb comments. "You must really like blue..har har!" I can tell that will get old. I wish it wasn't considered a big deal 'round here. The moms at the MOMS Club will probably pee their pants. lol
OMFG. Tweet, blue is SO your color! I "thheart" LOVE "thheart" it!!! You rock that blue hair, girl.

Pink washes out really bad BUT I got my hair dyed this fantastic purple color that FADES to pink..and then stays pink for months. I got it done like right when I got pregnant I think and its still pink. I will find out the brand name for you :) Regular pink dye washes out sooo horribly.

I am so jonesin' for shocking pink hair. I can't quite push myself to do it just yet, though.

Oh, gawd, they loooove it!They're too little to be too embarrassed yet lol. Read the OP again to see what Chloe said, though. haha
MSKitty, I've had it pink before and it really wasn't too bad with the fading for me,personally. I remember it was Manic Panic fuschia something or other. But definitely get the name of other one, too!
Tiffers, that would look really, really cute on you, I think.

It looks good on you. I don't think I expected something quite so shocking. In college I had a blue streak in my hair, but it was more navy - not nearly so eye-catching.

Oh, I'm sure it is because I bleached my hair 3 times first, lol. The lighter it is,the more vibrant. However, it'll bleed out a lot faster now, too. I've never been this brave before. I always did streaks, chunks, or my bangs. Oh, and it was pink for a little bit. Somehow even that didn't seem as intense. I think because I'm old now. lol
And that, m'dear, made my day
Aww, I'm glad to hear it :) I really think it looks fabulous!
I would have the guts to do it, too, but I'm really trying very hard to embrace my natural color (brown), which I have fought for the past I-don't-know how many years. I was blond as child and I still see myself as being blond, despite the fact that it darkened into brown by the time I was 7 or 8. I tried red once and hated it on myself. Plus I also have problems with extremely dry hair (not good for natural curls; it ends up being super-frizzy) and dye makes it so much worse for me.

Ds's occupational therapist has is blonde with chunks of brown an purple. It looks awesome and I think it's cool to see some of her personality behind the OT role.

I really do like it, too. I keep thinking that I might want to do something wild and crazy with my hair. Then I think, perhaps not, as I am planning on applying to nursing school in the spring. Not sure how that would fly.

At least the guys at the gas station don't sit there and examine your id and say, to each other:
"Is it fake?"
"I don't think so, but I don't think it is her"
"Hey, what is your birthday?"
"Ok, but you should really dye your hair back red, it is much prettier than brown."
