How awful!! I hope she's able to recover.

I suppose it's bad of me when I saw this headline to first have thought, "oh man, what did he do?"

Very scary I walked in to sons room a while back to find him playing with the curtin cord, we are renting and I thought we had put all of them on the top of the window but there was one behind the curtin we didnt see. I was scared just thinking of what could have happened if I hadnt walked in to the room to check on him.

How tragic and sad for the family. The decision they will have to soon make is not something any parent ever wants to think about. ):

Just pray for a miracle.

I just saw that she died. I gasped! My 2.5 yo often goes off (up to the second floor) and we don't run after her that very second. I am sure she could get into trouble with something. I mean, who would have thought about a cable somewhere semi hidden... and she wasn't even that little. Four is pretty "able" YKWIM (to pull something on and off or call for help)? But then they *are* still babies, even at that age and G'd knows what game she was playing. This is just awful.
