Interesting. Could it have been some inside joke between whoever wrote it and your bio dad?

That is totally crazy! Do you have any idea what the cause of death was? I'm guessing it was alcohol-related.

Yeah, that is crazy! I've never read an obit like it (not like I regularly read through them or anything).

I have to say its the most interesting obit I've ever read

Maybe he wrote it himself, my mom wrote her own in a class she took a while back. I think its an interesting obit though.

Judy, why would you think it was alcohol related?

Wow, that is quite an obit.

Judy I think he died of cancer, not sure what kind. Probably alcohol related though.

Maybe it is a joke and he's not really gone. I have seen it happen once.

I feel dumb to ask, but are the things in that true? I have obituaries where they tell a persons life story, but that has to be the most interesting life story I have read.

I think its kind of neat. I hope that I have a friend like that, who would rather celebrate my life like that.

I felt like I was reading a story, so I was just filling in the gaps as I would with a book. I guess you could say I was stereotyping based on some of the incidents in his life.

Dh's grandfather died of alcohol-related cancer. My ex-bil has cancer now, and it is likely alcohol-related, too. People don't realize how much damage alcohol can do; they generally only think of the obvious things like cirrhosis of the liver.

Michael, did you know him?

I never knew him so I can't say whether or not any of is true. My half-brother says it's a load of shit.

Does your half-brother know who wrote it? I'm genuinely intrigued.
